Meet the coach.
David (Dave) Lewis is a certified leadership coach with over 35 years of experience in promoting leadership development. He recently founded truNorth Coaching, a leadership advancement venture committed to assisting leaders find their true north setting in life and then creating pathways to take them to their desired destinations. Dave has served in North America and internationally as a pastor and denominational church leader. Known for his heart for leaders, Dave was elected to the position of District Superintendent by his peers, a position he held for 8 years. In this role he gave oversight to 56 churches, 19 of which were multi-ethnic. Dave has been especially instrumental in speaking into situations where people are “stuck” and enabling them to transition into purposeful space. An effective communicator, Dave speaks with a genuineness that allows him to connect cross-generationally.
Dave currently serves on the board of Canadian Food for the Hungry International. He has recently accepted an appointment to the leadership board of the Bed and Breakfast Association in his local community.
Dave has been married to Janie, his lifelong friend and sweetheart, for nearly 40 years. Together they have four children, all of whom are married and 12 grandchildren.
